It was the children who led the adults in the Palm Sunday worship service at Johnson City's 1st United Methodist Church. The elementary- age children were all from "C-3", the Wednesday after-school program at the church. They began the service by leading the grown-ups in a palm-branch entry parade, then took the stage to sing, act and explain the true meaning of being a Christian. Although the children took the lead in the Sunday service, the C-3 program is a non- denominational educational and entertaining experience for the kids, Methodist or not, and is provided at no charge by the church. This year's program, like the school year, is nearing an end, but students and students-to-be can register now for next fall.
