To Our Church Family,

As a required part of the Rio Texas Conference discernment process, the discernment committee has prepared a "Report to Congregation and District Superintendent." The Report discusses various specified issues related to possible disaffiliation of our church from the United Methodist Church denomination. Reports are listed below. Paper copies of the report were provided at both services on 8/20. If you did not receive one, additional paper copies are available in the church office.

Paper copies of these attachments are also available for review at the church office.

The first listening session with our District Superintendent, Rev. Ricky Sanderford, will be held Sunday, August 27, at 5:30 p.m. in the Activity Center. It will be helpful if you can review the Report before this meeting.

Remember, no decision has been made yet to either disaffiliate or not disaffiliate. This report is simply part of the required discernment process.
